I started writing this song back in 2012, when struggling with depression. I basically pulled out all the stops and wrote down every affirmation I needed to hear and put them all in the first verse of the song. It worked! I felt 100% fantastic by the time I was done recording.

The second and third verses emerged in 2017 as I was in a phase of deep change, and I needed to listen and feel for a direct experience of who I was instead of just saying the words, which had become empty and needed to be filled up again.
